On Friday the 11th of December 2020, Nic Caviale Delzescaux met with Farm Manager Hayden Rees Jones (Horizon Farming Limited) , Che O’Dey from NZ Fencer Limited and Paul Griffiths (TUMU) to celebrate the beginning of the work. The momentum is now started with contractors organized to work on the 3 properties involved in this large scale restoration project. The fencing contractor has already built one km of new conventional fences and will continue until the end of March. Two spraying contractors will be on site once the weather conditions are a bit more stable and safer. A Health and Safety audit was carried out as part of the project with some incredible findings, our contractors have a very high standard when it comes to health and Safety. A big thank you to Hayden from Horizon Farming Ltd for preparing and mowing the fence lines which was much appreciated by our Fencing Contractor. You can take your breath whanau, the work is now underway ! A big thank you to all the landowners who have supported us. It has been a long and challenging process but you are now starting to reap the rewards. Nga mihi kia koutou.
